After a successful year for Cardboardesign — Designing in cardboard, The Guggenheim Gala honoring Frank Gehry to the opening of our new store in Soho (NY,NY) Cardboardesign is launching an innovative concept in creative cardboard toys & furniture for children. Cardboardesign will show the new line at the International Toy Fair 2008 in New York starting February 17, 2008.

All parents are aware that children often have more fun with the box than the gift inside. All of Cardboardesign’s products can be decorated using paint, collage, crayons – there are no limits to their imagination. When a child has created a project, they feel a real sense of ownership and pride in their achievements. Alternatively parents, brothers and sisters, friends, nursery practitioners or party hosts can decorate and personalize the toys/furniture for the little people in their lives.

Made in America from recycled corrugated cardboard. From our range of chairs to rockets, forts, teepees, lemonade/advice stand, or doll house the beauty lies in their simplicity. They are a blank canvas for children to play, create & decorate.

Everything can be folded flat – an ideal storage solution. Use in the home, childcare setting or school to create a personal touch. This is an ideal solution for temporary play spaces. You can use the custom boxes to store the toys when your company comes. The products are light, sturdy and very easy to assemble.
