I ordered all six sets of the dollhouse accessories and am very happy with the quality. For having so many pieces for the price, I was expecting a few with sloppy workmanship, but this was definitely NOT the case. There was no excess glue or off-center placement. I looked at dollhouse accessories at an expensive doll shop, and found these to be of equal quality.

As a side note, I ordered the Victorian dollhouse that goes with these accessories (not available from Amazon as of this posting) and it does not arrive assembled. In fact, it comes in six separate boxes with an assembly instruction book. If you are ordering the dollhouse as a gift, I suggest ordering well in advance to allow time for assembly. It’s defintely not something you want to start on Christmas Eve!!

As a previous reviewer stated, the quality of these pieces is exceptional. It would be difficult to find so many pieces, for this price, at a hobby or craft store – let alone such well made ones. We have a Victorian dollhouse (not this brand) with Melissa & Doug furniture, which fits perfectly to scale, so the accessories really complete all the rooms. Only one little toy soldier wouldn’t stand up, easily fixed with a little sanding. The shelves included with each set already have an adhesive strip on the back! These are nice for kids and collectors alike. It would be great to see seasonal or holiday dollhouse accessories by Melissa & Doug, their products are always wonderful.

I am 11 years old, and my dollhouse is one of the funnest toys I own.I bought the nurserey set and was very pleased,it was very well made and just plain fun! I will definitly be buying more of the melissa and doug products!

What do I know. I bought this as an accessory for the M&D Foldup House. Unfortunately, once I got it, I discovered it has small parts not appropriate for 3 year olds. Don’t remember it being highlighted on site so hence this note. Am returning it. Looks very nice though.
