I think even if you would see them without the box you would still recognize them as Lucy and Ethel in the candy factory. The fabric of the dresses is sort of thin looking but nicely detailed with collars, belts, tiny buttons. <br /> <br />It is a nice gift for a collector..it is out of the ordinary and everyone loves Lucy. There is a button to push to hear a quote from this episode, but it was broken. I called Amazon. They said I had to order another one they could not order it for me. The first one was on sale but when I went to order the replacement it was not on sale. Amazon refunded me the difference and the second doll set came quickly and worked fine. It was a birthday gift for an adult who is a big fan of Lucy. She really liked the details of the dolls and the quote that brings back great memories.
