Pro: Dollhouses are an all-time classic favorite toy that will generally not disappoint most children including the Twin-Time Dollhouse showcased above. The imagery in the Dollhouse is very realistic including fabric curtains, and it includes parents and twin baby dolls.

Con: The cost, which was $230. in August 09 (and this didn’t include shipping!) is not commensurate with the quality, i.e., this twin dollhouse is NOT wood, but plastic. Although I like the dollhouse, it was definitely over-priced!

Overall, I would have given this dollhouse five stars if it wasn’t for the high-end cost. You can find an equally engaging dollhouse for far less–even dollhouses crafted in wood.

Got this for our daughter when she was 2 1/2…she was THRILLED. She played with the pieces everyday, I got her all 8 or 10 rooms that FP was selling at the time, but everytime I walked into her room I noticed all the furniture was outside the house on the floor. I would ask her why she said b/c its too small inside and she couldn’t play in the house.

She continued to play with the family and rooms for 2 years, but sadly the other day asked me to move it into her 1 year old sisters room b/c she was “bored with it”. My they grow up fast. I”m happy to pass it on to another daughter. It is very cute and very durable. However, my daughter was right, the rooms are quite small while the rooms/furniture they sell to furnish it are too big and don’t fit well in the house.

The Twin Dollhouse itself was always used as a storage unit to hold the items when she was done playing with it rather than an actual toy itself. She has requested a great BIG Barbie mansion for her birthday this summer and asked to make sure its big enough she can play in it. Her 1 yr old sister is thrilled with her new toy and all of its accessories.

I would recommend any of the fisher price dollhouse accessories to anyone, very cute, very durable, just know its small and maybe don’t buy ALL the furniture they sell b/c it wont all fit. I noticed the new GRAND dollhouse they started selling after this one opens up more and looks a little more accomodating to move around in.

My daughter is one of those little girls who just plain loves doll houses, and this one is no exception.

She got it as a birthday gift and couldn’t wait until she could play with it. Thankfully, It took me less than ten minutes to assemble it.

The Fisher-Price Loving Family Grand Dollhouse it is sturdy and beautiful. Her grandparents purchased the family room and bathroom furnishings to go along with it. After two weeks, she plays with it almost two hours every day and still isn’t bored.

For a three year old, this is quite a feat! I bought this doll house from Amazon because they offered the best price. When it arrived, I realized that the family that came with it is African American. So, we purchased a second set of dolls that resembled her own family. We are grateful for this oversight on our part because now my daughter, who sees no difference, has even more dolls to play with.

Since getting it for her b-day, 3 days ago, she has practically played non-stop, starting and ending her day with it. I love the details on the dolls – rings/watches, baby has a bottle, very real and modern looking! And I love that arms and legs are moveable. I like that the house is not full of furniture so we can pick out what we want and interchange the rooms. Also nice to be able to add more members of the family.

The twin babies are a plus – my daughter loves anything to do with babies. Couldn’t be happier with the house!

I gave this to my 3 yr old grand daughter for xmas and it was a hit. Thanks for the reviews that were left before mine. It helped me decide to buy this toy and to know that this is a great dollhouse product!

The only problem I have is the rooms are tiny, and the furniture won’t fit in them!
