The Fisher Price Loving Family Dollhouse and accessories are a preschooler’s dream!

    BUT….

Are these prices on Amazon for real? They aren’t even remotely close to the store prices? This is for all the accessories I’ve viewed, not just the adorable bathroom set. If you’re buying these sets, please be aware that these prices are not accurate.

I purchased this product for my daughter’s LF Grand Dollhouse. It comes with the double sink, shower, training potty, toilet and brush. I didn’t see the floor mat in my package as shown in the photo.

I thought this would be a great addition to the house, but I was a little disappointed. None of the items makes any sound – not even the toilet. Everyone knows that at the 3 year old age, bathrooms are very important – especially toilets. If only 1 item could have sound, it should have been the toilet.

The double sink includes a stepstool that slides out and a hamper than opens out. The shower includes a curtain that is moveable – however, the dolls are taller than the shower. So they look a little silly with a major portion of their bodies sticking out of the top of the shower – the dads especially.

So although this is a nice set, I was disappointed in the lack of any sounds (so was my daughter). Although I don’t think that all toys should make their own sounds, a simple flushing toilet would have added to the experience.

I believe the price is a typo. There is no way this item is this expensiv. I bought it for a fraction of the price listed.

As for the toy, my daughter loves it. She is almost three and got the dollhouse and accessories for Christmas. She thinks it’s fun that there is a training potty, especially when we got the little girl. This was also our first expansion set, our second being the home office. In hindsight I probably would have gotten a bedroom set first, but she seems to play more with these two more than the beds.
